Travel Diary | Sicily Day 2

On the second day I decided to go on a hike to the Alcantara gorge as it's a place that I've always wanted to visit, and it gave me the perfect opportunity to wear my new fitness gear- I wore a pair of coral running shorts from H&M and I paired this with a marbled sports bra also from H&M- if you're looking for cute and reasonably priced sports wear I seriously recommend checking out some of H&M's stuff, as their current activewear range is amazing. On my feet I wore my black Nike free runs and for accessories I wore my favourite sunglasses from Zara and a navy Yankees cap.

After my hike I went for a swim in the gorge, my bikini top is from Hollister, and my bikini bottoms are the cheeky style from Victoria secret

Later in the evening I popped out for dinner, and as usual I kept it casual so I opted for this striped tunic dress from Zara with a pair of lace up sandals from Topshop

Travel Diary | Sicily Day 1

So last week I was away in Sicily, I decided to write a travel diary to show you guys what I wore and what I got up to, and maybe give you some outfit inspiration if you're going away this summer.

So on day 1 I spent most of the day by the pool and chilling around the villa. I popped out for lunch and decided to keep it simple, partly because I was too tired and too hot to wear anything else. I went with my all time favourite remi shorts from Brandy Melville, a white bardot top from Topshop which I threw on over my bikini. On my feet I opted for a pair of Donddi sandals from Steve Madden and for sunglasses I wore my round mirrored ones from Zara

Later in the evening I went out for dinner and decided to make slightly more of an effort, however I find in foreign countries they're so much more effortlessly stylish than in England therefore I wanted to keep my outfit relaxed and casual. I decided to wear this patchwork denim skirt from Zara which I'm obsessed with at the moment. I wore a white bardot top from H&M; If you hadn't already guessed the majority of my summer wardrobe is made up of off the shoulder tops. And then on my feet I wore the same Steve Madden sandals which I wore earlier in the day.

Barn on the Farm 2016

The first weekend of July has become one of my favourite weekends of the year as it's the weekend when my friends and I fill our cars with clothes, tents and alcohol and head to Gloucestershire for Barn on the Farm.

Barn on the farm is a boutique festival which focuses on booking only the best lineups. The relaxed and chilled vibe has meant that the festival has become a favourite by both festival goers and artists, and has gained a reputation as somewhere to catch the next big names in the world of music. Barn on the Farm is a festival created out of passion and it's genuine nature shines through, creating an intimate and unforgettable experience.

English festivals are very different to American festivals with the main focus on the music rather than the outfits. When it comes to English festival attire wellies and a jumper are a must, but me being me I wanted to make an effort at the same time, so I opted for outfits  that had a chilled vibe and were somewhat practical.

Day 1

So day 1 the weather was iffy as per in England, so I opted for this black long sleeved off the shoulder playsuit from Brandy Melville which I'm in love with; it honestly feels like a pair of pyjamas! I paired it with a slogan bomber from Zara, and on my feet I wore a pair of white Stan Smith Adidas. For accessories I kept it casual and went with my favourite round mirrored sunglasses from Zara and a silver layered choker which I bought off Depop.

Day 2

Again on day 2 I wanted to keep it casual, so I went with my all time favourite denim shorts which are these mom style shorts from Topshop. I paired them with a grey Yeezus t-shirt which I loosely tucked in. On my feet I wore a pair of all white Adidas Superstarstrust me they didn't stay white! I wore the same mirrored sunglasses as day 1 from Zara and I accessorised with a rope choker from Brandy Melville

Essentials

I had a few staple pieces which I wore throughout the weekend, either early in the morning or at an after party, these included my navy Yankees cap.

A black puffer jacket from Ralph Lauren

And an oversized sweater from Fila

Every year the experience is priceless and I can't stress enough what an amazing time I have at Barn. It allows me to detach from the real world for a couple of days and shows me how important it is to surround yourself with positive people and experiences, and that's why I love Eventbrites new GOMO campaign, which is all about encouraging people to make their summers the best summers yet! Their 'GOMO' (go out more often) campaign aims to put an end to FOMO and they've set out to inspire people to go out and experience something new this summer, rather than sitting at home wishing they had. The goal is to encourage people to move away from materialism, and toward experientialism. When I heard about Eventbrites GOMO campaign I knew it was something I wanted to be involved in. The concept of GOMO has inspired me to pack my GOMO bucket list full of experiences this summer and spend my money creating memories instead of on material items. If you're feeling inspired as well you can use Eventbrite to host your own event for GOMO and invite all of your friends to RSVP online! Or if you'd like to know more make sure to check out their website as they have maps showing local events in your area (Eventbrite).

Best of luck with your summer, I hope you make it an unforgettable one, and maybe I'll see some of you guys next year at barn!

Much Love
